What Happens Next
Your trip is officially booked!
The details are in place. The planning decisions have been made thoughtfully. Now you get to shift from researching and deciding to anticipating and looking forward.
Here is what you can expect from this point on.
Your Reservation Is Confirmed
Your deposit has been applied and your travel arrangements are secured.
You will soon receive:
- Your invoice
- A link to your online itinerary
- A summary of important dates
When it arrives in your inbox, please take a few minutes to review your invoice and confirm that all names match your passports exactly. If anything needs to be adjusted, let me know right away.
I Am Monitoring the Details
Even though your trip is now booked, my work continues behind the scenes.
I am tracking:
- Final payment deadlines
- Cancellation timelines
- Supplier updates
- Schedule changes
- Resort and/or tour notifications
I recommend you put your final payment date on your calendar, but I will, of course, send reminders. I will also communicate anything that requires your attention.
Entry Requirements and Travel Guidance
Because I collected your passport information during the booking process, you are already well positioned for international travel.
If your destination requires any additional entry forms, authorizations, or documentation closer to departure, I will notify you with clear instructions and timing.
If anything changes in your travel plans or personal circumstances (births, name changes, marriage status, etc.), please let me know so we can ensure everything remains aligned.
Travel Protection
If you added travel protection, your policy details are included in your online itinerary.
If you declined coverage and would like to revisit that decision before your deadline passes, I am happy to review options with you. Certain policies must be secured within a specific timeframe from your initial deposit date.
As Departure Approaches
As your travel date gets closer, usually about two weeks before you depart, you will receive:
- A pre-departure checklist
- Arrival and transfer instructions
- Important contact information
- Final documentation, if appliable
- Destination-specific guidance to enhance your experience
If you would like a pre-departure Zoom call to walk through everything together, we can schedule that as well.
The Emotional Side of This
Booking a trip is both exciting and meaningful.
You have invested in an experience. You have trusted me with something that matters to you. It is natural to feel a sense of anticipation along with a desire for reassurance.
My role is not only to arrange the logistics. It is to provide steadiness and clarity from the moment you book until you return home.
You should feel:
- Confident in your decisions
- Informed about what to expect
- Supported if questions arise
- Calm about the details
If something comes up, even something small, reach out. If you simply want to double check a detail, I am here. If life shifts between now and departure, we will adjust together.
You are not managing this trip alone.
In the Meantime
Right now, your job is simple: Look forward to your trip!
If you would like restaurant suggestions, reading recommendations, or ideas for how to make the experience even more meaningful, I am always happy to share curated guidance.
The details are in place. I am watching the timeline. You get to enjoy the anticipation, which is part of the journey!
